Friends of Winter Pond (FWP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and conservation of Winter Pond, a kettle pond located in Winchester, Massachusetts. An all-volunteer organization, FWP relies on the volunteer work of our members and the financial support of our donors to carry out our many activities to protect the pond, educate the community, comply with government regulations, and, overall, ensure a healthy, accessible pond where visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and ice skating.
